Track Record

Performance Tracker

Real, daily-logged cumulative return against SPY, QQQ, and IWM — built from a log that started on the date below, not backfilled or smoothed to look longer-running than it is.

Track Record · Daily Log

Cumulative return vs. benchmarks

This chart is built from a daily log of the real total book value, logged once per trading day alongside SPY/QQQ/IWM's real closes for the same date — the same real data already powering Holdings and the market ticker, just accumulated over time instead of overwritten each day. Everything below is indexed to 100 at the start of the selected range, so the lines show cumulative % return, not dollar values.

Why this doesn't go back to 2022

The account itself started in 2022 with $500, and the July 2026 letter discloses an all-time dollar-weighted return of +72.14% since then — that figure is real and already published in Letters. But no daily values were captured between 2022 and when this log began, so there are only two real endpoints and no real path between them. Drawing a smooth curve connecting them would mean inventing data for years I don't actually have — the same standard this site holds every other number to. This tracker instead starts a real, growing daily record from its first logged date forward, and will only ever show real days.

Methodology

Portfolio value is the real, Blossom-verified total book value used throughout the site. SPY, QQQ, and IWM closes are the same real closes shown in the market ticker, sourced via Massive Market Data. Each is indexed to 100 at the start of whatever range is selected, so a value of 105 means +5% cumulative return over that window — this measures relative performance, not who has the bigger number in dollars. The log is appended to once per trading day; it is never edited retroactively except to correct a sourcing error, and any such correction will be noted in the Disclosures.

This is a real but young dataset — short tracking windows are noisier and less meaningful than long ones. Treat early readings here as a starting point, not a verdict.
